47th Annual Orthopaedic & Trauma Seminar

Come join us for the 47th Annual Orthopaedic and Trauma Seminar in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We will have outstanding speakers from across the United States and Canada. Participants will experience an interactive format including didactic sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops.

This year’s seminar is sponsored by FORE, Excelen and Hennepin County Medical Center.

Welcome

October 26, 2017

Dear Registrants:

On behalf of Hennepin County Medical Center, the Organizing Committee welcomes you to the 47th Annual Orthopaedic and Trauma Seminar—the longest running orthopaedic seminar in the nation, with registrants from 33 states and 2 countries.

The course is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to interact directly with the proponents and practitioners of new research, and to increase their knowledge of different management approaches and surgical techniques related to orthopaedic surgery. There will be opportunity to discuss and debate areas of clinical controversy, experiences, and network with others. The workshops will provide participants with hands-on experience to learn new techniques in orthopaedic surgery. Again this year is a lecture track devoted specifically to the needs of the Advanced Practice Provider, and we hope you find value in this as well.

Multiple companies dedicated to patient care have helped make the 2017 Seminar possible through their purchase of exhibit space. The talks, discussions, and videotapes are planned to make you aware of “cutting edge” methods of care for the orthopaedic patient, while the workshops are designed to allow hands-on experience with these methods.

The Organizing Committee would like to acknowledge the support, suggestions, and behind-the-scenes activities of Excelen Center for Bone & Joint and the Hennepin County Medical Center orthopaedic administrative staff. Their assistance with this seminar is invaluable.

We are happy to be your hosts for the 2017 seminar and look forward to seeing you again next year, November 29 – December 1, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.

On behalf of the Course Committee, please enjoy this year’s course.
